Last winter, Paul decided he wanted to take his then girlfriend Sarah on a little vacation getaway. Through their search efforts they stumbled upon Point Lookout, in Northport, Maine. They were instantly excited to head north to Maine from their home state of Massachusetts. Little did Sarah know that Paul was planning on proposing to her on the trip!
At the resort they stayed in Cabin 43. It was there that Paul asked the big question. After the surprise, while still on their vacation, they decided to head a little more north and spend a day in Bar Harbor, to experience the beautiful town. They ended up at a restaurant called Geddy’s, which just so happened to be the place I worked for many Summers over the years! During some conversation they decided to ask the Bartender if she knew any local Photographers. I’m fortunate they threw my name out there, because now here we are!
When planning their wedding, Sarah and Paul decided to get married at Point Lookout and stay in Cabin 43 again! I do feel like I bond with all my couples but with these two it was so incredibly easy. They made me feel like I gained new friends. They were great to work with and they are wonderful people!
Sarah and Paul had a perfect wedding day. The weather cooperated and everything went smooth! Sarah was looking so beautiful and had an emotional first look with her dad. Paul crafted his own boutonnieres for him and his groomsmen- a very special touch!
When walking down the isle, Paul was overtaken with emotion and the tears were flowing. It even made me cry. The ceremony was beautiful and sweet. We snuck away to cabin 43 afterwards, to take some pictures where it all started and to also get some pictures with their pups. We returned to the reception just in time for the perfect sunset! The best man and maid of honor’s speeches also made me cry, and I could truly feel how their friends were so happy and how they loved them so much. When it was time to dance, the crowd did not disappoint! Such a fun, energetic group!
Thank you both so much for choosing me. I am so happy that you ended up at Geddy’s that day. I feel blessed to have met you both, but even more blessed to have captured this special day in your life!
